Welcome
Thank you for your interest in enrolling at Spotswood Primary School. We would love to welcome you to our community where ‘everybody is somebody’. Choosing a school is an exciting time. It can also feel daunting and a little overwhelming, we’re happy to help you with this process.
We invite you to get in touch with our office and make a time to come for a tour of our school. The opportunity to visit and see our learning community in action can help ‘paint a picture’ of our school and help you understand if we are the environment that will best suit your child and family. Tours are available individually for families.
The following information will also help you understand the enrolment process and we encourage you to make contact with us if you have any further questions.
Enrolment Boundaries
Like all schools, we have a designated enrolment boundary and students residing within this boundary are guaranteed a place at our school.
Currently at Spotswood, we are also accepting enrolments from families who reside outside our boundary.
Enrolling at Spotswood Primary School
To be eligible to start school in 2027, your child must turn 5 on or before 30th April 2027. Enrolment forms are available to download here:
They can also be collected from our school office.
Completed forms should be returned with:
- Proof of age (birth certificate or passport);
- Immunisation record
Enrolment forms can be submitted at any time and once all forms are received you will be provided with confirmation of your child’s place at Spotswood Primary School.
2027 Prep Enrolment Timeline – Key Dates
Term 1
Tours of our school commence in March and are available for the rest of the year.
Please make a booking by calling our office on 9391 1323. Tours can be arranged at a time that suite your family.
Term 2
Tours continue.
Wednesday 6th May 7:00pm-8:00pm – Information night for prospective families.
Term 3
Tours continue.
To assist us with planning, please submit enrolment forms to the school by the 18th of September where possible. This is the last school day of Term 3.
Term 4
Prep Transition
Wednesday 4th November 7:00pm-8:00pm – Parent Information Session ‘2027 Starting School’.
11th, 18th and 25th November – 3 x Wednesday morning transition sessions for 2027 prep students. More information will be sent to enrolled families closer to this time.
